If you are not fully satisfied with an item (except for made-to-measure
bikes and frames), just return it (you will have to pay for
mailing costs), in its original package, within 8 days after
reception, with a copy of your bill. We will refund you on
your credit card, the sum corresponding to the price
at which you bought the item, as soon as we receive the item.

Remainders will be mailed (you will
not pay for mailing costs).
Guarantees
Our items are guaranted between
6 months and 2 years, depending on suppliers. If you have
any problem, please feel free to contact us, we will do our
best to find a solution. You will not pay for any mailing
costs for any item under guarantee you will receive.
Gilles Berthoud bags, racks and frames are guaranted for 5
years.
Gilles Berthoud bikes are guaranted for 5 years for the frame,
2 years for the finish and one
year for spare parts.
The guarantee excludes damages:
- caused by shocks
- due to wrong uses
- due to overloading
- due to normal wear (brake and derailer cables, chains, sprockets,
chain rings, freewheel, tires, spokes...)
- due to lack of maintenance
- following a repair which was not done in our workshops
- caused to the enamel by bits of gravel, acid sweat, or contact
with humid or saline areas.
The guarantee will be
the replacement of the defective part only. No
indemnity will be claimed in case of immobilization.
Prices
and validity
Our prices are valid until the next updating of the Gilles
Berthoud site and while stocks last.
In case of stockout, the order will be cancelled and replaced
by a credit note or a refund. Our prices are firm and given
in Euros, inclusive of tax. The prices do not include mailing
costs. Prices for foreign countries are given according to
laws in force.
The Court of Bourg-en-Bresse has the juridiction to solve
any dispute.
Please
note
- We have done our best to describe the selected items. Despite
all our care, this site may include some mistakes or omissions,
we are very sorry for this.
Our suppliers may modify the selected items, so as to improve
their quality. We will do our best to modify the texts and
pictures of these items.
- We reserve the right to modify the items we make (bikes,
bags, racks...).
- In according with the data protection act (01/06/78), you
have a right to access and modify any data related to you.

and tandems are given for information only. Prices will change
according to the destination. Once we have received your order,
we will give you the exact total amount of your order, mailing
costs included. We will then wait for your confirmation to
validate your order.

Your order will be delivered at whatever address you choose.
Ours deliveries are ensured by the Poste. In case of absence,
a notice will indicate the post office where you can collect
your order.

When
will I receive my order?
The max. delivery period is 14 days after the day we receive
your order. Our items are generally delivered within one week.
We do our best to deliver your order as soon as possible.
However, some items are not always easily available. We will
inform you about delivery periods, and if they are too long
for you, you will have the possibility to cancel or replace
these items.
For
frames, bikes and tandems, delivery periods
are longer since these items are made after you order them.
We will inform you about delivery periods when you place your
order.
On receiving your order, make sure
you have all the items listed on the delivery note. Please
have reserves about the parcel if it has been flattened or
